It was Kylene's day with Emeries (Inavale's most adorable quarab) so I had an opportunity to ride Nick (Inavale's most handsome Morgan gelding). He was cooperative and energetic as well as very willing to bend to the left. We worked on serpetines and circles and did quite well. Then we cantered.... which was lots of fun and a little different than Emeries'.
Plus, Nick looks so handsome with curly tail and mane. It's going to be fun couple of months with him!
I'm so excited that Nick's mane is staying on the right side! I didn't know Morgans are supposed to have their mane on one specific side (at least rumor has it that that's the case...?) so hopefully I picked the correct side. I should check into that... Ahh! I should see how the pictures turned out! It's a bit difficult taking pictures of a dark horse.
